Breathe, a portrait series about widows, whose husbands died of asbestos related disease, was Christopher’s first major body of work and made a national tour of Australia starting at The Australian Centre for Photography. It awakened him to the potency of photography as a vehicle to drive social change.

This work is in the permanent collection at Latrobe Regional Gallery, Morwell.
