Permanent Vacation

Photographic expeditions are typically drawn to the exotic—vibrant flavours, distant cultures, unfamiliar lands.

Mine, constrained by the domestic rituals of raising young children, took a different shape. Disguised as family holidays, our creative journeys unfolded in quieter terrain. The kids, absorbed by whatever lay before them, never questioned the itinerary: a tree. A paddock. A bridge.

We searched for quiet meditations—wherever they could be found.
